Stick to a Party Theme
Stick to a party theme
The best advice I've ever received and given to others in planning a children's party is "Stick to a Theme".
Sticking to a theme makes all your planning and decisions really easy. Then choose from the multiple choices within your theme. This can be narrowed down by age targeted styles. There are some really cute 'younger kids' themes and some very cool 'older kids' themes. Plus there is always the favourite game or interest of the day that can make a good theme. Then select the basics: invitations, thank you cards or tags, plates, cups, napkins, straws, candles, and party bags.
If up-scaling to the next level of party creativity is what you want, there are really cute and in-vogue products on the market to help you achieve a stunning look without huge effort. It really is the little things that matter. Display your party bits in cute buckets and containers and decorate the party room with balloons, banners and co-ordinated twines and ribbons. Use the oh-so-cute wooden cutlery. You've got to love pop bottles - they really show off your cute straws. The party essential is cupcake stands - there's lots of choice to keep within your theme, and some really cool single cupcake stands to really make your party table pop. How easy to use a themed cookie cutter and make simple biscuits that just make your theme look wow. Party bags are a great visual addition to the theme, add detail with ribbons and co-ordinating pegs, and put some cool themed goodies in your bag. Theme the party games, like pass the parcel by putting in a nice themed gift. Oh! and if you’re into self preservation buy two - one for the party host to prevent any disappointment.
If that's not enough and you want 'everything' we can help you with that too. Buy a themed gift for the party host, and give it to them about a week before the party. It gets them excited about the theme and can be used as a display on the day. Table Centre pieces lift the party table to another level. Not only are they a real centre of attention but they are a great toy or display in the playroom when the party's over. What better way for the party host to get into theme than costumes and accessories, and they get to relive the fun for ages. Give each child some accessories on arrival like a pinwheel ribbon, cowboy hat, pirate bandanna, fairy wand... the list is endless, then when the party's over the guests pop it in their party bag. Oh! and fill the party bag with lots of themed goodies that will give your guests reminders and memories of your great party!
We've made it easy for you to have the ultimate party without the hard work. Enjoy choosing from our quality products that will last long past the party day.
Have a fun party and create the memories!
